Fuglafjørður (or the Bird Bay) is a small and lively town with a lot to offer its visitors. The campsite is situated between the town and the fjord and also functions as the parking lot for the Culture House. As the town and the fjord are protected by tall mountains on all sides, the campsite is relatively sheltered from the wind.

The campsite is open from 15 April to 15 September.

It is possible, but usually not necessary, to book a spot from 14 days in advance. It is also possible to pay on arrival at the Tourist Information office in Ribarhús.

The price per night for a caravan or camper (with one or two adults) is DKK 250 incl. electricity and access to the facilities. The price for additional adults is DKK 50.

This year, a national sustainability fee of DKK 20 per adult (16 years or older) per night is to be collected alongside accommodation costs. The fee goes into a government-managed sustainability fund to protect our fragile nature.
